Described as ‘wildly talented’ and ‘world-class’, Moda’s Founder and Director Danelle Ayers is fuelled by curiosity and a drive to help brands reach their creative and strategic potential.

With two decades of operational and strategic hotel and hospitality experience across New Zealand, Australia, the UK and US, Danelle has honed her skills executing strategy, shaping brand narratives, orchestrating campaigns, influencing stakeholders and inspiring creative teams at the highest levels.

Prior to launching Moda, Danelle successfully led the iconic QT Hotels & Resorts brand as Head of Brand & Marketing, overseeing a portfolio of 10 hotels and 18 signature food and beverage venues across Australia and New Zealand, achieving record breaking results during her tenure.

Danelle’s diverse operational background enriches her expertise and understanding of hospitality. Her career spans bartending to bar management; waitressing to restaurant management; hotel reception to front office management; conferencing and events, through to national corporate sales and revenue management.

This breadth of experience gives Danelle critical insights into the workings and challenges of hotel and hospitality operations, allowing her to bring a unique lens to Moda’s services and make a positive impact on your business.

Justine is a senior marketing professional with deep experience across tourism, hospitality and travel. She brings a thoughtful mix of strategic brand thinking and commercial delivery, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end customer journey.

Her background spans hotels, destination marketing organisations and global travel brands, including several years working alongside Danelle at Rydges — a collaboration grounded in shared values around brand, performance and partnership.

Justine specialises in integrated marketing strategies that drive demand and support revenue growth, with experience across digital and content strategy, eCommerce, campaigns, partner marketing and data-led optimisation.

Practical, customer-focused and highly collaborative, she’s known for delivering work that balances strong storytelling with commercial impact - and for always going above and beyond. She’s a great human.

Meet Lisa.

With over 14 years’ experience across hotel sales, marketing and revenue, Lisa Jones knows how to drive commercial results with calm confidence and a sharp strategic lens.

Having worked alongside Danelle for 7+ years on the Rydges New Zealand and QT Hotels & Resorts brands — Lisa brings a deep understanding of what it takes to drive sales growth and deliver smart, effective marketing across the accommodation, hospitality and tourism industries.

From developing sales strategies to running B2B campaigns, managing content, socials, email marketing and analytics, Lisa is an absolute gun who shows initiative, gets things done, and makes things happen. She’s trusted by clients for her clear thinking, collaborative style and ability to turn big plans into reality.

Meet Christine.

With over 15 years’ hospitality experience spanning marketing, branding, conference and corporate sales as well as food and beverage, events and leisure - Christine brings to the table valuable expertise in developing effective marketing approaches that translate into real sales performance for hotels.

Having worked alongside Danelle for 4 years at Rydges Hotels & Resorts, and most recently at QT Hotels & Resorts as her project manager - Christine knows how to deliver outstanding results with meticulous organisation and a relentless 'get things done' attitude.

Meet Mikaela.

With over 12 years’ experience in the hotel, hospitality and tourism sectors, and a current role as a senior analyst, Mikaela Morrison brings a practical understanding of what drives bookings in a competitive online space. 

Mikaela and Danelle first worked together at Rydges Wellington across conferencing and events sales and ops, before Mikaela joined Rooms Online as the Operations Team Lead. It was here that Mikaela gained firsthand insight into how accommodation providers can stand out on online travel agent (OTA) platforms – from optimising listings to fine-tuning content that converts.

Mikaela is passionate about helping hotel teams present the best possible version of their brand online, reducing the time and effort spent on OTA management so they can focus on their business.
